PURPOSE:To improve a plane property and to reduce the number of man-hour for manufacture, by superposing a magnetic layer face made by applying magnetic paint to a mold releasing base body being excellent in its plane property, and drying it, on both faces of a base body for a magnetic disk, heating and pressing them, and thereafter, peeling off only the base body. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic paint 3 consisting of magnetic powder, a binder and a solvent is applied to a mold releasing base body 1 being excellent in its plane property, through a knife blade applying head 2 and a slit blade applying head 2'. Subsequently, drying of the solvent and hardening of urethane are executed by a drying machine 4. Subsequently, a magnetic layer 3' on the base body is made to contact with both faces of a disk substrate film 5, the magnetic layer 3' is transferred to the disk substrate film 5 by making it pass through between rolls 6 used for heating and pressing, and thereafter, only the mold releasing base body 1 is peeled off, and a sheet 7 provided with a magnetic layer on both faces is obtained. Subsequently, a disk is obtained by punching. In this way, the plane property is improved, and the number of man-hour for manufacture can be reduced by omitting a polishing process. |
