A process is proposed for the formation of metallic wall panels of relatively high dimensional stability for through-circulation dryers or similar housings or cubicles to be set up primarily in workshops, in which process the starting sheet material (2) drawn off from a coil (1) passes, inter alia, through a stamping station (5, 6), in which bends (9) or beads extending over the full width of the sheet are stamped alternately into the surface of the sheet from the upper side (2a) and the lower side (2b). Only then do the panels profiled in this manner and separated by a shear (7) pass through a system (8) for drawing in the edges, which performs the flanging of the longitudinal edges of the sheet. <IMAGE>
