PURPOSE:To generate the substrate voltage independent from source voltage by adding a peak-voltage clamping circuit to a buffer circuit in a substrate voltage generating circuit which generates negative voltage. CONSTITUTION:In the substrate voltage generating circuit which generates negative voltage according to input of the output of an oscillation circuit 1 into a voltage doubler rectifier circuit 3 through a buffer circuit 4, a peak- voltage clamping circuit is arranged in said buffer circuit 4. This clamping circuit restrains the peak voltage of signals inputted into the voltage doubler rectifier circuit 3 to be a constant voltage which does not depend on the source voltage, thereby generating a negative voltage which does not depend on the source voltage. Also, arbitrary voltage is generated by predetermining the clamping voltage to be arbitrary voltage. |
