PURPOSE:To prevent a ''break'' state at a compositely photographing part, by rewinding a tap by specific length after recording is kept on for a fixed time when an instruction PAUSE is received in a recording state, entering into still mode, and running the tape by fixed length in response to the next recording instruction and starting a recording operation. CONSTITUTION:When a temporary stop signal is sent at a point P5 while the tape 2 runs as shown by an arrow (a) to record data on a screen A, the tape is allowed to run by the fixed length over signal recording and stopped at a point P6, and a capstan is reversed to rewind the tape by length l4 until a point P4. Then, the capstan is rotated forward by a recording restart signal to move the tape by l5, and after the tape speed becomes constant, the recording of the screen 13 starts at a point P5. In this case, l4=l3+l5. Consequently, screens A and B are connected together without any ''break'' phenomenon at the point P5, and absence of a screen due to overlap writing and astability of a screen right after the restarting are prevented. |
