PURPOSE:To correspond high speed carrying work on roads as well as work in the field by utilizing two kinds of governor characteristics suitable for work running and road running and chaning over the mode automatically by employing an electronic control governor. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection amount adjusting mechanism 12 of a fuel injection pump 11 is controlled by an electronic governor. The mechanism 12 is coupled to a solenoid 13 and the position of the mechanism 12 is detected by a stroke sensor 14 and a rotating number of an engine is detected by a coil sensor 17, and the electronic governor is controlled through a control circuit 18 utilizing a micro computer based on the information from the sensors 14, 17 and acceleration set value. Two kinds of governor characteristics for road running and for work running are set on the control circuit 18. These two characteristics are automatically selected according to adjustment of two acceleration adjusting tools 19, 20, and work in the field and high speed carrying work on the road can be corresponded.
