PURPOSE:To enhance the switching frequency of a switching power source, to suppress the temperature rise and to reduce the size of the power source by arranging circuit parts in a hybrid manner in a case with a heat sink fin. CONSTITUTION:A case 4 with a heat sink fin has a plurality of heat sink fins on the outer surface, and an external connection terminal 5 projected from the lower surface. A switching transformer 1 is secured with grease or adhesive 7 of silicone or the like having good heat conduction into the case 4. Simultaneously, a resistor 3 is mounted as a printed or chipped resistor, a transistor 2 is mounted via a heat spreader 9 on a printed substrate 8, which is secured to the case 4. The base of the transistor 2 is connected to the resistor 3 and the emitter is connected to the case 4 via aluminum wirings 10. |
