Improvements to processes for enriching phosphate ores by flotation. This process is characterised in that it comprises the following stages: - a first stage during which the ore in concentrated or dilute pulp form is conditioned at alkaline pH for 15 seconds to 3 minutes with the aid of a collector advantageously consisting of an amine or ether amine carboxylate and/or of a phosphoric ester or a mixture of phosphoric esters; - a second stage during which the flotation of the silicates and/or of the carbonates is performed, which results in a flotation precipitate containing phosphate particles - and in the case where the gangue contains silicates and after the flotation of the carbonates, - a third stage during which the separation of the phosphate present in the precipitate is carried out.
