<p>The compensating joint in the refractory lining of hot-air or hot-gas lines provided with a metallic articulated compensator is to be improved with respect to its durability and sealing performance. The solution comprises locking of the joint by means of brick rings, of which one insulating brick ring (16) is located in a recess (10) between two radial holding rings (18, 19) fixed to the inside of the guide tube (3) of the articulated compensator (2, 3), while a further brick ring (17) is seated in an annular channel (15) on the inner periphery of the joint. In this way, destructive pressure stresses in the compensation joint and in the refractory lining are avoided.</p> |
