In order for it to be possible for the caravan front roof to be quickly brought into the operating position and cleared away once again by one person, two guide rails (2) are present, which are arranged in parallel, are to be mounted on a caravan roof (1) and have a front and a rear end. One support element (5) each is rotatably mounted on the front end. Present in each guide rail (2) is a withdrawal rail (3) which is subdivided in the longitudinal direction into a support region (10) and a retaining region (9) and carries a roof panel (4). Arranged at the end of the support region (10) in each case is a castor (7) which interacts with a stop in the region of the support element (5) and limits the withdrawal.
