<p>An ornamental attachment for a slide fastener slider includes a plate and a pair of cantilevered flaps jointly defining a slot for receiving a pull tab. The plate or the flaps have a cam projecting into the slot. A recess in the body is disposed adjacent the flaps and communicates with the slot. When the pull tab becomes inserted in the slot, it is caused by the cam to flex away from the pull tab, until a lateral projection on the pull tab snaps into the recess, whereupon the flaps spring back into a position in which the lateral projection is locked in the recess by the flaps. The advance is in a configuration allowing a simple one-step operation for attaching the tab to the attachment. :</p> |
