PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out pressure correction easily and simply, by connecting a constant volume container, a variable volume container and a pressure transducer by two three-way cocks. CONSTITUTION:A three-way cock 5 is provided in order to communicate a constant volume container 2, a variable volume container 3 and a pressure transducdr 4. a three-way cock 6 is provided in order to open communication spaces to the air or block the same from the air, while the volume of a communication space corresponding to the position of the plunger 7 provided to the syringe as the variable volume container 3 is known. In use, the operative cock 6 is positioned as shown by the drawing to be opened to the air and, after the communication spaces are brought to atmospheric pressure, the air is blocked from said spaces to advance the plunger 7. By this operation, pressure corresponding to the reduction in the volume of the communication spaces is generated according to the Boyle-Charles' law and a pressure signal is obtained through a liquid preliminarily filling the pressure detecting part of the pressure transducer 4. |
