PURPOSE:To obtain a stable supersonic wave tomogram even under the application of the curvature having a strong angle onto an inside body core insertion part by deforming a shape memory alloy member which is connected with a piezoelectric vibration element and mechanically scans the piezoelectric vibration element. CONSTITUTION:A supersonic wave probe 1 is equipped with a shape memory alloy projecting from the top edge of a catheter 9, and said shape memory alloy member 3 is heated and deformed by the electric current under electric conduction, and turns a piezoelectric vibration element 2, said deformation quantity is detected through a voltage meter 13. The electric current supply quantity to the shape memory alloy member 3 from a dc electric power source 11 is controlled by controlling the conduction time of a transistor 12 by the signal supplied from a controller 8. Therefore, the revolution of the piezoelectric vibration element 2 is carried out correctly by the shape memory alloy member 3, and even if the probe 1 is curved and inserted considerably, or the top edge of the catheter 9 is twisted by the curvature of a body core, the revolution of the piezoelectric vibration element is hardly influenced, and said vibration element can be surely revolved, and a supersonic wave tomograph can be obtained correctly. |
