PURPOSE:To spray liquid uniformly and to make the reaction thereof with gas substantial by mounting nozzles to a square duct with the axial center inclined with respect to the wall surface of said duct. CONSTITUTION:For example, a spray nozzle A is disposed to a square duct near the ridgeline 2a of the duct and is so constituted that the nozzle has respectively specified angles to the wall surface 1a of a horizontal plane and the wall surface 1d of a vertical plane and that the centerline (a) of the spray directs toward the centerline 3 of the gaseous flow in the duct 1. Each nozzle is mounted with inclination to the vertical and horizontal planes by the angle of about 1/2 of the spray angle alpha of each nozzle, whereby the direct contact of the sprayed liquid with the wall surface is prevented. |
