PURPOSE:To enable comfortable heating by improving heating efficiency and heat exchanger effectiveness of a heat exchanger, by a method wherein a sucking up wick for humidification is made to protrude into a duct of air to be fed by a blower fan is made into deflecting body. CONSTITUTION:A burner 2 is provided in a main body casing 1 having a hot air blowoff opening 10, a sucking up wick 8 for humidification is provided within a space between a primary heat exchanger 3 and a secondary heat exchanger 5 which is connected with the heat exchanger 3 in succession to it, and the wick 8 is made to protrude into a duct of air to be fed by a blower fan 9 sending air to an external surface of the heat exchanger, which is made into a deflecting body. Simultaneously with humidification effect heat exchanger efficiency of the heat exchanger can be improved, that is, as the wick 8 is served as a deflecting plate deflecting air from a blower fan 9 to the heat exchanger 3 side. Simultaneously with a contrivance for increasing a humidifying quantity at the time of operation by providing the wick 8 in parallel with arrangement of thin pipes of the heat exchanger 5, heat exchanger efficiency can be improved by rectifying an air current surrounding the thin pipes of the heat exchanger 5. |
