PURPOSE:To attain the program check at an optional location for an optional number of times, by giving an interrupting means externally to a subminiature microcomputer at each execution of instruction. CONSTITUTION:A program check device main body 6 outputs an address desired to stop a program stored in a memory 3 to a comparator 4. A microcomputer chip 1 outputs an address stored with the program to be executed to a signal line 8. The comparator 4 compares the address from the device main body 6 with the address from the signal line, and when they are coincident, an FF 5 is set. Thus, a clock signal applied to a signal line 11 is stopped by a clock generating circuit 2 and the computer 1 stops the operation. The main body 6 can know the content of an optional address of the memory 3 via a signal line 10. The program developer check the program by repeating such a procedure. |
