PURPOSE:To obtain a superior color image, by forming a latent image in polarity small in dark decay first, and developing a latent image in polarity large in dark decay first, in an amorphous silicon photoreceptor chargeable to both polarities and large in dark decay in one polarity. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 10 obtd. by forming an amorphous silicon photosensitive layer on an aluminum drum is positively charged by the first charger 11, and exposed to the reflected light of an original consisting of black, red, and white through a red filter 14a to form a positive latent image on the first exposed area 15. Then, the photoreceptor 1 is charged negatively with the second charger 17 and exposed through a green filter 20a to form a negative latent image on the second exposed area 21. The negative latent image is developed with a red positive toner 22, and then, the positive latent image is developed with a black negative toner. Hence, a sharp color image good in contrast is obtained by one rotation of the photosensitive drum by forming a latent image in polarity large in dark decay later, and developing it first. |
