<p>PURPOSE:Conjugate spinning is carried out using a slightly soluble polyester containing specific acid and glycol and a easily soluble polymer, then the easily soluble polymer is removed by dissolution to give the titled fiber with comfortable rustle feel, good luster and dye color development. CONSTITUTION:On the production of conjugated fiber from 2 kinds of thermoplastic polymers different in solubility so that the easier soluble polymer occupies at least 2 places on its surface, a polyester which contains 0.7-2.4mol% of isophthalic acid bearing a metal sulfonate and 0.2-10wt% of a glycol of 90-6,000mol.wt. and has a polymerization degree of 80-100 is used as the slightly soluble polymer. The resultant conjugated fiber is dissolved off at least in a part of the easier soluble polymer to give the objective fiber.</p> |
