Open gas turbine with indirect heat supply, comprising the main components, high pressure turbine, low pressure turbine, compressor, heater, combustion chamber or fluidised bed, compression intercooler. The invention serves for the production of mechanical energy. An open gas turbine process is combined with a water-steam process and/or the latter extended to include a closed gas turbine process. The open gas turbine process has a double heat supply, which is applied to the high pressure gas, at first indirectly in a heater. A further increase in temperature follows in a combustion chamber. In the low temperature range the flue gases transmit heat exclusively to the water-steam process. Cooling heat from the closed or the open gas turbine process is transmitted to the water-steam process. High pressure gas from the open and the closed process are expanded together.
