PURPOSE:To enable the detection of deterioration of a lining material without viewing said material by measuring temp. in the plural different positions in the thickness position in the lining material. CONSTITUTION:The temp. sensing parts of thermocouples 3 are placed in the different positions of a lining material 2 in the internal thickness direction thereof, and the lead wires 4 thereof are connected respectively through an object 1 to a temp. recorder 5. The outside surface of the object 1 is in contact with the outside air, and the surface of the material 2 is in contact with the high temp. of waste gas or the like. A prescribed temp. gradient is generated in the thickness direction of the object 1 and the material 2, and the thermocouples 3 measure the temps. thereof in the respective positions and record the same in the recorder 5. Then, the degree of deterioration of the material 2 is detected without viewing the material. |
