Brake pressure control valve for a motor-vehicle brake system

In a brake pressure control valve for a motor-vehicle brake system, a pressure reducing valve comprises a differential piston and a clamping piston, an elastic means which acts on the differential piston in the opening direction of the valve being provided between the clamping piston and the differential piston. The clamping piston can be pressurised by the master cylinder pressure counter to the spring force of the elastic means and the master cylinder pressure acting on the clamping piston is limited by a solenoid valve which closes as a function of the vehicle deceleration and is electrically controlled by an inertia switch. A load-dependent brake pressure control valve with raising of the switching pressure is provided which, while being of simple construction, has a precise switching function.
