In a valve for the feed of compressed air to a container, which automatically shuts off the feed of compressed air to the container in the event of a pressure drop, a spool is provided which is moved by load into a closed position and can be displaced from outside into an open position. In the open position, the spool applies a connecting passage to a source of compressed air, which connecting passage is connected to the atmosphere in the closed position. The compressed air fed displaces the valve spool from a pre-loaded closed position into an open position. In this open position, the valve spool clears a connecting passage between the source of compressed air and the container. Furthermore, a device acted upon by the container pressure is provided which holds the spool in its open position, against the closing force, after the pressure build-up in the container. |
