PURPOSE:To incorporate a one-way clutch in a clutch device in order to switch the speed change step by the synchronous engagement of paired gears and the engagement and disengagement of the one-way clutch without close associated control for two clutches. CONSTITUTION:In case of changing the speed from the first speed step to the second step, if a clutch 7 is engaged, the clutch is disengaged, and a sleeve 39 of a synchronizer 36 is engaged with a gear piece 38 to couple a driving gear 19 for the second speed to an input shaft 2, and then a clutch 13 is engaged. When the clutch 13 is engaged, a one-way clutch 14 is locked by engine drive, so that the turning power of the engine is transmitted through an output shaft 101, gears 9-11, a clutch 13 and the one-way clutch 14, and further transmitted through the synchronizer 36 and paired gears 19, 22 for the second speed to an output shaft 3. |
