PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric oscillator which is manufactured easily, tolerant to a shock, and fitted easily to a wiring board, by providing a sealing container consisting of a cylindrical member and a supporting body and a piezoelectric body fitted to said body and enclosed in the sealing container. CONSTITUTION:A crystal oscillator 1 is formed by enclosing a crystal piece 2 in the sealing container 3. The container 3 consists of the cylindrical member 4 and a supporting body 5. The body 5 has both end parts 5a and 5b blocking the openings at both ends of the cylindrical member 4 and a coupling part 4c for coupling them directly as one body, and lead wire terminals 6 and 6 are sealed in both end parts 5a and 5b in the axial direction of the container 3. The wiring board 7 has a positioning hole 7a, and when the oscillation 1 is inserted into the hole 7a, the terminals 6 and 6 are positioned at wiring patterns 8 and 8 to position the oscillator 1 on the board 7. In this state, the terminals 6 and 6 are connected to the patterns 8 and 8, and the attachment of the oscillator 1 is completed. Consequently, the piezoelectric oscillator 1 which is manufacture easily, tolerant to a shock, and fitted easily to the board 7 is obtained. |
