PURPOSE:To make available a prompt start-up of an engine even at a freezing ambient temperature, by arranging such that a gas turbine engine is provided with a main and an auxiliary fuel supplying lines, the latter line serving for the supply of light quality oil, and an auxiliary fuel is supplied when the temperature of main fuel is lowered. CONSTITUTION:Upon an engine 1 being started, a main fuel is supplied to the engine 1 from an initial stage of operation if the temperature of main fuel is elevated. In case of the main fuel having a lower temperature at the initial stage of operation, a fuel switching valve 7 is caused to switch into an auxiliary fuel supplying side via a comparator 14, and thereby letting the auxiliary fuel to flow into the engine 1 via a main fuel tube 5B and the fuel switching valve 7. While the auxiliary fuel flows in this manner, a main fuel supplying line causes the main fuel to circulate therethrough via the fuel switching valve 7 and subsequently to be heated up by means of a heater 11. In this manner, the engine can be started up promptly even at a freezing ambient temperature. |
