PURPOSE:To rapidly operate a valve without causing a water hammer, by applying the output of an opening degree detector to a control pulse output unit and supplying the output of the unit to a motor controller for driving an electric motor for moving the valve. CONSTITUTION:The output of an opening degree detector 4 is applied to a control pulse output unit 5 which sends out a pulse train P of period and time interval predetermined depending on the output and a control input. The pulse train P is supplied to a motor controller 6 for regulating the drive of an electric motor 2 for moving a valve 1. As a result, the valve 1 is slowly operated within a range from the entire closing 10 to 15% opening and rapidly operated within such a range of higher opening as not to cause a water hammer. The valve 1 is thus rapidly operated without damaging fluid facilities by the water hammer. |
