PURPOSE:To obtain a device having a master ID code and a code security function that cannot be easily released even if the master ID code is clarified. CONSTITUTION:In a device having a code security function equipped with a user ID code storage means 1 for storing a user ID code, a user ID code input means 2 for inputting a user ID code from the user, and a coincidence discriminating means 3 for deciding whether or not an input ID code coincides with a user ID code and outputs a security release signal if they coincide with each other, a master ID code memory means 4 is provided, wherein no user ID code cannot be input from the device including the user ID code input means 2, and the coincidence discriminating means 3 decides the coincidence between the master ID code input from a master ID code input means 5 and the stored master ID code, and outputs a security release signal only when they coincide with each other.
