PURPOSE:To enable an alternation in response to the difference in frequency or in the systems of weights and measures to be made easily by a method wherein specification switching contact circuits and buttons for opening and closing the circuits are provided outside the visual range of a keyboard as an input terminal of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A power source frequency switching key 17a, a temperature unit ( deg.C or deg.F) switching key 17b and a weight unit (kg or Lb) switching key 17c are provided within the keyboard and a specification is determined by the contents inputted and set in the microcomputer 15 according to the circuit opening and closing conditions of the keys. These keys are set at the time of their manufacture and are not operable from outside. As a consequence, the conventional switching between 50Hz and 60Hz, that between deg.F and deg.C and that between Lb and Kg are made easier so that the soldering of parts at the time when the parts are displaced is not required and it is possible to reduce cost by the common use of the parts. |
