PURPOSE:To control an amount of fuel to be charged at the next time of accumulating heat in the preceding stove to the minimum indispensable value, by calculating the overs and shorts of an accumulation amount of heat in each of the preceding and succeeding stoves at the time when blasting from the preceding stove is finished from the temp. of hot air at the outlet of the succeeding stove. CONSTITUTION:In the hot blast stoves to perform parallel blasting operation, the temp. of hot air at the outlet of the succeeding stove is measured, and its change with the passage of time is converted into a numerical formula to estimate the fluctuation in the temp. of the hot air. Thereafter, using as a carbinal point the time when the period of blasting from the preceding stove is finished, overs and shorts corresponding to the standard condition to be operated with the optimum level of heat accumulated in each of the preceding and succeeding stoves are individually numerically calculated as a time function defined by the estimated temp. of hot air at the outlet of the succeeding stove. In addition, data on the overs and shorts of an accumulation amount of heat in the past are added in. Using this value, an amount of fuel to be charged in the preceding stove at the next time for accumulating heat is controlled to the minimum indispensable value. |
