发明名称 WATER CONTENT MEASUREMENT OF POLYCARBONATE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To measure the water content at a high accuracy by determining the ratio between the absorption intensity of infrared ray due to OH group of water contained in bisphenol A type polycarbonate and the absorption intensity of infrared ray due to polycarbonate to relate the results to the correlation between the ratio and the water content previously obtained. CONSTITUTION:The ratio is determined between th absorption intensity of infrared ray near the wave number of 3,757cm<-1> due to inversely symmetrical expansion of OH group of water contained in bisphenol A type polycarbonate and the absorption intensity of infrared ray near the wave number of 2,642cm<-1> due to said polycarbonate. As this ratio is in the relationship of 1:1 with the water content of polycarbonate, relating this to the correlation between the ratio and the water content previously obtained facilitates a highly accurate measurement of the water content of a bisphenol A type polycarbonate plate or the like.</p>
