PURPOSE:To make the positioning of a product so accurately as well as to aim at automation for various adjustments, by holding a projection at a lower part of the product in between with centering plates having each V-type formed part. CONSTITUTION:Each centering plate 6 having a V-type formed part is moved on a free roller in a state of being downed by a cylinder 11, and placed on the center of a specified positioner 2. Next, the cylinder 11 is made to go up, and these centering plates 6 are situated between a lower surface of a product 4 and a base plate 3. Then, a ball screw being cut in a symmetrically inverse thread form is rotated via a belt 8, whereby these centering plates 6 are closed. At this time, a product projection part (rubber seat) 5 is held in between with V-type formed parts of these centering plates 6, thus positionings in both cross and longitudinal directions of a product 4 are carried out at the same time. In this connection, in this V-type formed part, there is provided with a roller through which movement of the projection part 5 to a V-type apex is made easier. With this constitution, the product positioning comes to accuracy, and automation on the existing line becomes facilitated.
