PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate an engine even if one of injectors is failed, in a single point fuel injection system having two injectors, by changing the time of fuel injection upon the abnormal injector being detect. CONSTITUTION:An injector drive circuits 2, 3 drive injectors 5, 5' disposed upstream of a throttle valve 6 in accordance with signals 8, 9 from a CPU1. An abnromality detector 4 in an injector drive circuit system comparates the signals 8, 9 to the injector drive circuits 2, 3 with signals 14, 15 from current detecting circits 10, 11 after the drive circuits, for detecting abnormality in the injector drive circuits 2, 3, the injectors 5, 5' and the wiring thereof. Upon abnormality, the time of fuel injection to the injectors is changed. Thereby, normal operation of engine is possible even upon abnormality of the injector system. |
