MANUFACTURE OF FIBER REINFORCED RESIN TAPERED CORE

PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled excellent mechanical strength core in simple structure molds by a method wherein as molding material is wrapped about a collar core mold part, a circular external mold having a tapered part on the internal surface is moved to the side of the collar part and pressed. CONSTITUTION:Molding material 13' of long fibers impregnated with thermosetting resin is wrapped about the core mold 7 having the collar 71 on one end. The circular external mold 16 mounting the tapered part 161 on the internal circumferential surface is moved to the side of the collar part 71 every one- several layer wrapping. When the distance between the external mold 16 and the circular body 10 for removing the mold takes 10-15mm., the molding material 13' is wrapped to the intended thickness, the external mold 16 is pushed to the side of the circular body 10 and hardened, then the external mold 16 and the core mold 7 are removed.
