<p>The centralised hair drying installation offers the advantage of having the fan and its motor sited away from the user, reducing the noise level to the user. The air is driven to a distribution trunk by the remotely sited fan and heater. Various outlets are provided with a valve fitted in each to control passage of air. The power of the fan motor is increased as each outlet is opened. Once in the outlet trunk the air passes over an electric resistance, having an oscillometer to vary the heating intensity. The hot air passes through a rubber membrane valve to reduce loss of air and then to the fixed or mobile hair drier attached to the outlet.</p> |
