PURPOSE:To make coarse and fine sanding with a sheet of sanding material and thereby save the base material, by adhering abrasive grains to the surfaces on both sides with different particle sizes. CONSTITUTION:Conventional sand paper, in which abrasive grains are adhered to only either side of the base material, is used by putting the abrasive side in contact with the work to be ground with a pressure applied to the back side of the sheet, but slip on this pressure application side makes sometimes operation hard. A grinding work usually consists of a coarse and a fine grinding process, and this invention with a sheet of base material furnished with two types of abrasive grains in different particle sizes on its two sides will provide simplified operation of grinding work, and at the same time slip on the pressure application side can be prevented and base material saved. |
