PURPOSE:To obtain an angle sensor provided with a noncontact converting means, by using a Hall element. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 5 and 6 are arranged so that they have reverse polarities, respectively. A first magnetic circuit comprises the permanent magnet 5, a third side yoke, a Hall element 9, an adjusting screw 13, a center yoke 11, a rotor 12, and a first side yoke 3. A second magnetic circuit comprises the permanent magnet 6, a second side yoke 4, the rotor 12, the center yoke 11, the adjusting screw 14, the Hall element 9, and the third side yoke. When the rotor 12 is rotated by rotary angle displacement, the Hall element 9 is differentially driven by magnetic flux densities of two kinds generated by the two magnetic circuits, and generates a voltage. Therefore, the rotary angle of 90 deg. in both directions can be detected, with a point where the magnetic flux densities of both magnetic circuits become equal to each other as an original point. |
