<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the electric power consumption of an apparatus containing a reader, by providing a light source of a light source sensor on the side of a bar-code to be read. CONSTITUTION:A bar-code table 1 is formed by sticking that which prints a bar-code and a character or a character-string corresponding to this bar-code on a glass plate or a transparent acryl plate which transmits light. Light of a lamp 2 of a light source is reflected by a reflector 3, and light is transmitted from the reverse side of the bar-code of the bar-code table 1. When a power source switch 4 is turned on, the lamp connected to a DC power source 5 is lighted, and the bar-code becomes a readable state. In case of reading the bar- code, the light source is not required on the side of a reader, light which transmits the bar-code table 1 instead of a reflected ray is photodetected by a photodetecting part of an optical sensor, and information can be inputted by the digital processing. Therefore, the burden of electric power of a bar-code reader can be reduced.</p> |
