PURPOSE:To perform mutual communication between loops, by providing plural loop transmission networks individually with a packet branching and inserting circuit and a transmitting and receiving buffer, and transmitting data between the loops by a switching bus controlled by a scanner. CONSTITUTION:Data when transferred from the terminal station of a loop L1 to the terminal station of a loop Ln enters a branching and inserting circuit BI1 through a transmission line l1 and the loop address is checked. A packet is branched to a receiving buffer R1 because of the transfer to the different loop, so the scanner SCAN detects that through a scanning line SL to transfer the packet through the bus BUS to a transmitting buffer Sn specified by the destinated loop address of the packet. The packet stored in the transmitting buffer Sn is checked by a branching and inserting circuit BI and then inserted in a free packet area of a data frame on the transmission line l1. |
