PURPOSE:To minimize the spaces in the axial and radial directions by locating the parking side cylinder part and service side cylinder part in tandem arrangement as seen in the axial direction of the axle. CONSTITUTION:The outside circumference of a cylindrical part 19 of a parking brake release piston 2 is in sliding contact with the internal circumference of a partition member 18, and a spring receptacle 21 is formed at the cylindrical part 19. Another spring receptacle 22 is formed at a casing member 13, and a parking brake actuating spring 3 is interposed between these two receptacles 21, 22. End face of the cylindrical part 19 is in thrust contact with one of the end faces of a flange part 23 of a service brake piston 1 while the other end face is fronting a multi-plate clutch part 11. |
