PURPOSE:To prevent an effect of the leakage magnetism of an external device to a recording carrier, a magnetic head and a printed distributing board respectively, by using a soft magnetic material having large permeability and small coercive force to sheild magnetically the magnetic head and the printed distributing board. CONSTITUTION:A soft magnetic material is used to form a frame plate 5 containing a driving motor 1 and a spindle 2 provided on the rear side and the upper surface side respectively. At the same time, a soft magnetic material is used to produce a shielding plate 7 which is opposite to the upper surface side of the plate 5 and forms a storing part 6 of a discoid recording carrier 3. A printed distributing board 8 is attached to the surface of the plate 7. In this case, the carrier 3, a magnetic head 4 and the board 8 are protected magnetically with a soft magnetic plate consisting of the plates 5 and 6. The generation of a write error with the carrier 3 and the head 4 owing to an effect of the external leakage magnetism of the motor 1 and others is eliminated. A malfunction due to the electromotive force which is generated by a magnetic field to the wiring on the board 8 is also eliminated. |
