PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of damage of air bag due to burning and the generation of burn thereof by restricting the conduction of the heat generated by the combustion of gas generating agent, and to lighten a device, and to secure the mass productivity, and to reduce the manufacturing cost by simplifying the structure to reduce the number of manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cooling chamber cover 2 having a cover and a cylindrical cooling chamber cup 3 having a bottom are welded for bonding to form a housing 1. In the housing 1, a cylindrical combustion chamber cover 5 having a cover and a cylindrical combustion chamber cup 6 having a bottom are welded for boding to form a combustion chamber case 4. The cooling chamber cover 2 and the combustion chamber cover 5 form the double structure. An igniting device 10 and gas generating agent 13 are housed inside of a combustion chamber, and the cooling material 15 is housed in a cooling chamber 14. A disc-like heat insulating material 19 is pinched by the cooling chamber cover 2 and the combustion chamber cover 5 to restrict the conduction of heat at a high temperature, which is generated by the combustion of the gas generating agent 13, and prevent the generation of temperature rise of the cooling chamber cover 2. |
