PURPOSE:To improve easily a power generation output, by installing a heating implement to the water supply and discharge system attached to a wet dust collector. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas generated from a blast furnace is admitted through a dust catcher 2 into a wet dust collector 3, where the gas is wet scrubbed. The scrubbed gas is introduced through a mist separator 4 into a recovery turbine 6 for furnace top pressure by which the gas is converted to a power generation output. The circulation water for wet scrubbing of the waste gas circulates to the dust collector 3 from a water treatment device 8 through an inlet 31 and an outlet 30, so that the waste gas is scrubbed with the circulation water. A problem here lies in the release of a large quantity of heat in the thickener water tank 9 in the device 8. Thereupon, a heater 10 is put in the tank 9 to heat the water therein. The power generation output of the turbine 6 is thus improved. |
