PURPOSE:To display an alarm indicating no supply of current from a power supply when the operator depresses an operation key or opens/closes an original cover at the no supply of current from the power supply to a titled device, by providing a power supply monitoring part, a control part and a battery. CONSTITUTION:The copying device is provided with a current monitor (input power current monitoring means) MON to monitor input power current to be supplied to the device, the control part (copying detecting means) CNT to detect copying operation of the operator and the battery (auxiliary power current supplying means) PS to continue said both means when the input power current to the device is interrupted. When current is not supplied from the AC power supply to the device, an alarm display LED lights for a prescribed period almost simultaneously with the practical action for copying operation by the operator, key input or opening/closing of the original cover to inform no current supply to the device to the operator. |
