PURPOSE:To prevent the titled apparatus from TROUBLES caused by the moisture absorption and the deliquescence of dust containing a large amount of hydrous soda ash, by regulating the volume ratio of steam in a gas during dust collecting operation to at least 5%. CONSTITUTION:In a first example, gas cooling air 4 and gas humidifying steam 5 are introduced into a gas conduit 2 at the upstream side of a dry dust collecting apparatus 3 and, in a second example, a water sprinkling type gas cooling apparatus 6 is inserted into the gas conduit 2 at the upstream side of the dry dust collecting apparatus 3 while, in a third example, a heat recovery apparatus 7 such as a boiler or a heat exchange apparatus using a non-specified cooling medium and the gas humidifying steam 5 is inserted into the gas conduit 2 at the upstream side of the dry dust collecting apparatus 3. In addition, a combined embodiment of the first, the second and the third examples is also possible. |
