PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment of length of a shaft coupling by allowing the base- plate part of the supporting member of a shaft coupling to be bent by compressing the side-plate part of said supporting member and releasing the engagement between the supporting member and an engagement member, thus forming said engagement member shiftable in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:In order to control the length of a shaft coupling 1 for connecting the base part of a tilt indicator 85 for indicating the height of a handle 1 and one edge of an intermediate link 86 the other edge of which is fixed onto the intermediate part of a tilt handle 71, the base-plate part 4 of supporting member 2 of the shaft coupling 1 is bent by compressing the side-plate parts 5 and 6, and the engagement between the engagement groove 8 of an engagement part 7 and the engagement plate 34 of an engagement member 3 is released, and the engagement member 3 is advanced and retreated to adjust the distance between the base part of the tilt indicator 85 pivotally installed onto the joint part 14 of the supporting member 2 and the other edge of an intermediate link 86 pivotatally installed onto the connection part 37 of the engagement member 3. Compression for the side-plate parts 5 and 6 is released at a prescribed position on a handle height indication part 79 to which the top edge part of the tilt indicator 85 is brought into contact and the both engagement grooves 8 and 35 are engaged and fixed again. |
