A kitchen machine with a motor drive, having a container which accommodates both an exchangeable, rotating tool, for example a rotary cutter (5) held by a support (3), and the foodstuff to be processed by said tool, and which is closed off at the top by a lid which has a filling shaft (2.1), the rotary cutter support (3) having means for the proper fitting and fixing of a multiplicity of rotary cutters (5) which are adapted geometrically to said support, the rotary cutter support (3) being provided with an axially displaceable bearing (6.4) which interacts with elements, belonging to each rotary cutter (5) and forming a spacing, in the sense of a compensation in height between the cutting plane of the rotary cutter (5) fitted on in each case and the container-side opening of the filling shaft (2.1) on the lid side. <IMAGE>
