PURPOSE:To improve the total efficiency of a plant by using a plant model for efficiency computation incorporated in a control system for model normative forecasting control. CONSTITUTION:A load request value 13 generated by a load request value generating means 110 in an electric power plant is sent to a determining means 220 for maximum efficiency search load points to decide one or plural maximum efficiency search load points Ls(p), thereby sending a signal 14 to the plant model 240 for stationary efficiency computation successively. A maximum efficiency searching means 230 by a complex method, on the other hand, has its operation timing controlled by an operation control signal 15 to transmit a trial manipulated amount 9 to the plant model 240, and while current plant efficiency 10 is received from the plant model 240, an optimum manipulated amount 11 for maximum efficiency at each load point Ls(p) is determined. |
