PURPOSE:To measure the max. generating power of a generator, by adjusting load in such a manner that voltage between both terminals of the generator is made equal to a value in a load free state to prevent a generated current from flowing to a battery. CONSTITUTION:Batery voltage in a load free state supplied by cables CP, CN connected to a battery 1 is divided by resistors R1, R2 to be applied to the positive input terminal of the comparison circuit Q1 of an OP amplifier circuit (a). The same terminal applies voltage equal to the voltage of the battery in a load free state while voltage supplied from a power source 4 good in stability is adjusted by a variable resistor VR1. When voltage at the positive terminal of Q1 is raised by power generation, a signal is imparted to the base of a control transistor TR1 through Q2, Q3 to change the resistance value between a collector and an emitter and power energy is adsorbed to keep the voltage between both terminals of the battery constant. By this method, the charging and the discharge of the battery are not carried out and it looks equal as if the battery is taken away to carry out a test. |
