PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect an error on the frequency of a carrier wave without any high-grade complexity by calculating a specified sequence. SOLUTION: A module 44 receives the value of a sequence d'(n) as its input and dispatches the MSB of d'(n) as its output. A module 46 selects the high- order bit next to MSB. An exclusive OR computing element 48 receives the MSB of d'(n) and the high-order bit next to MSB [in d'(n)] as its inputs and dispatches the exclusively ORed result of these two input bits as its output. Then, a module 54 receives the value of a sequence p'(n) as its input and dispatches a value El=p'(n).α quantized for every NBI pieces of bits as its output. Besides, a module 56 performs multiplication due to α.β. Further, corresponding to the value of output bit of exclusive OR computing element 48, a switching module 62 is switched to either input E1 or input E2. |
