PURPOSE:To always produce the enough effect of reducing vibration in a control device of a vibration damper suitable for reduction of shift vibration by automatically controlling phase difference of vibration to a vibration source of the vibration eliminating device, the vibration of the structure to the minimum. CONSTITUTION:An electrically-operated vibration eliminating device 4 is disposed near the stern that is the side of ship vibration 3 by Diesel main machine 2, and the frequency of the vibration source is detected by a detector to generate the vertical vibration 5 having the same frequency as that of the vibration source. The amplitude of ship vibration is detected by a detector 6 disposed in a residential area 9, and the phase of socillation of the electrically-driven vibration eliminating device 4 is automatically adjusted in such a manner as to minimize the amplitude. This results in generating ship vibration 5 of phase opposite to the ship vibration 3 to reduce the vibration according to the principle of supperposition. |
