PURPOSE:To simplify the maintenance and assembly operation for a multistage pump by a method wherein an electric motor and its associated parts are formed in such a way as they may be taken out only by loosening bolts used in fixing a pump casing to a connecting ring, while pipings are connected to the pump casing as they are. CONSTITUTION:A connecting ring 38 is fixed with a bolt 42 to a connecting frame assembled at the electric motor side and after a sealing device 47 is coupled to a rotary shaft 26 with a key, an intermediate casing 27 is fixed to the connecting ring 38 with a bolt 39. Then a rotary shaft 26 is covered with a sleeve 24, and thereafter a first stage vane wheel 22 is coupled to it with a key, a nut is fastened thereto and the vane wheels 22 and 23 are fixed to the rotary shaft 26. Lastly, a pump casing 15 is fixed to the connecting ring 38 with a bolt 45, in the assembly of these components to complete a multistage pump. In this way, since the electric motor and its associated parts are so formed as to be removed by loosening the bolt 45 while pipings are connected to the pump casing 15, as they are, the maintenance and assembling operation can be well simplified. |
